But I would have thought that someone of such prodigious intelligence would already have figured that out.
I'll just say how odd it all is. Not the way I'd have gone about it. Any of it. There are plenty of easier, no cost and secure ways of getting things done, but Apple does forbid discussing those, so I stick to the legit methods.
In this case buy the boxed disks from Amazon for a few dollars and know it is the real McCoy and does not require a serial number. I am curious how Amazon still has stock after all these years. Is Apple still pumping out the only good version of iWorks from some secret bunker deep under Palo Alto?
