Volume is calculated by taking the lowest Z point, averaging the highest Z points of each X and Y point on a grid formation cube to calculate the average volume for that one section. Each section is then added together to create an estimated volume for the surface. XYZ Mesh version 8 and above includes the ability to open two separately saved projects and load them side-by-side in a comparison type graph.

Commented: Christopher McCausland on 16 Mar Hi I have a matrix called Total that is 3x, the first column is the x value, the second column is the y value and the last column is the z value. When I input this matrix into a scatter plot I get a scatterplot with 3 paralell lines which is correct as I am mapping metal beams underneath concreate and the z value is the electrmagnetic value of the bar, how can I turn this graph into a contourf plot or a color plot.
