Doom mouse driver

After the game boots, the mouse cursor is in the top left corner, and I can't move it. Alt-Tab'ing out doesn't fix anything, and it won't work on my desktop either. As soon as I exit the game, the mouse is fine. I didn't have any issues until I upgraded my monitor higher resolutions, higher aspect ratios , but even after the monitor it worked fine after I unplugged my controller and reset the game. What can I do to get the mouse detected by Doom?

It's just a shot in the dark, but if you can't fix it using other means, try what I did when I had mouse issues with another game i.

Last edited by Wistful ; 22 Mar, pm. Sadly that didn't work. It doesn't seem to be a power issue though, as my mouse is lit up it's one of those weird gaming mice , and it transitions really easily back to use as soon as DOOM is closed.

I'd really like an answer though I don't blame you, I blame the game , as I can't even play one of my favorite games thanks to this issue. Some other people have reported the same issue. I'd make sure the game was fully updated and maybe try using a different screen resolution.

Ok the poll is now closed and it looks like a majority however tiny a majority it may be would prefer to have the Choco Doom mouse code available in Eternity. I have decided, as discussed in a previous post, to make it an option alongside the existing mouse code. This should keep everybody happy.

Posted May 26, Posted May 31, Posted June 3, If you are not experiencing any of these specific bugs, there is no reason to apply the hotfix—it does not introduce any performance benefits or feature upgrades, so you're not missing out on anything.

All of the fixes will be rolled into the next regular driver release as well. Hotfixes are not dished out through Nvidia's GeForce Experience utility, and they don't show up when performing a normal driver search. If you need it, visit the What if Doom Eternal still crashes or unexpectedly stutters on capable hardware, though?
