Fender roc-pro 1000 manual
I have a BA in music. I would repurchase this amp if lost. I would, however, consider getting an additional amp of another kind for getting better blues tones in the studio. My Reviews Write A Review. Sound Quality. The is a great rock amp; it gives you all types of nice distortion tones. It also has a nice SS clean channel which gives you a big, open, crystal clear high tech kind of clean tone.
Again, the mid boost and separate eq's give one a lot of clean tonal options. On the distortion side, I can only get an adequate blues tone out of mine. Its blues tones sound alright until you plug a strat into something like a Peavey Classic I have yet to find a good blues amp that can get great rock tones though.
I've noticed that other all-tube Fender amps also have warmer sounding clean channels. It's hard to have it all in one compact amp. For a huge sound try adding the 1x12" closed back extension cab and roll off the bass eq a bit. Lower settings provide a gradual compression distortion and higher settings provide more sustain.
Switch OUT selects the Normal channel. Connect the footswitch using a speaker grade cord rather than a coaxial guitar cord. The combined minimum impedance for all speaker enclosures should be 4 ohms i. Using a 3-conductor stereo cord will provide a quasi-balanced signal and a 2-conductor mono cord will provide an unbalanced signal.
SEND - Connect cord to external equipment at this output jack. This unbalanced jack provides a prereverb signal output from the preamp and may be used to drive effects units in an effects loop, to drive additional amplifiers in a multi-amp set up or as a preamp send to a mixing console.
Effects pedals usually require a —16dB setting. This jack is prereverb and can also be used as a power amp input. Welcome to ManualMachine.
